I saw plenty of pics yesterday of the shuttle flyover here in California, but this had to be one of the best. Reminds me of how I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a boy, how magical that idea was as a kid.
Got to see Kanye West last night after we finished up shooting the Call of Duty XP event here in L.A. Both the event and concert were awesome. Great show. (Took me half an hour to notice Lindsay Lohan was like right beside us at the concert though)
So…
Well, I moved to California at the beginning of June, just got internet (and TV) yesterday finally so hopefully I can post a bit more often now. Had the iphone, but it’s not quite the same for some sites to browse and use as a computer.
Hopefully things get better from here on out, but so far it’s been hit or miss. The drive out here was good enough — I made it out here after all, it was just a long drive. But as soon as I got here I had to get the clutch, the A/C and a piece of the drive shaft replaced in my truck. So that was an extra grand I didn’t want to spend.
Then one of the places my girlfriend works at had a shooting outside in the parking lot. Nobody got shot, just someone firing into the air trying to show off as they drove away after a confrontation I think. Still a bit scary.
Today I go to my truck and someone had broken into it and taken the GPS, stereo faceplate and iPod out of it (all of it was hidden away, not sitting out in plane site + my truck is one of the crappier cars in the line up of nice cars at our condo).
At least the weather is better out here in Cali — I don’t know… trying to not throw up my hands and go back to VA at this point.
