According to the source, the “average” playthrough of the main quest is around 50 hours long. I would take into consideration that they were not rushing through the game, perhaps making full use of the interactions with the world, doing some related sidequests, etc. Even so, 50 hours for the main plot is impressive, but with the game still over a year away from release, we are still in the stage where developers are talking what they want to give us and not what we are actually getting. So… I’ve been writing some articles this week on some info I’ve come across on the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC. I wasn’t sure how accurate it was, but it sounded good enough to write up as rumor so I went with it.
Yesterday I get emailed from Bethesda asking who my source (but he asked to not be linked) was (so sorry) and that they take someone breaking the NDA seriously. So whether this means the articles are pretty accurate, I don’t know; but seems odd they would care if it was all hogwash.
