When I shot this belly dance show it was the first time I’d seen a male bellydancer in a long performance and in person. I was very impressed at how masculine he made the dance being that it’s commonly a female dance. I’ve seen several men performing since, but none quit pulled off what Arish Lam did.
We’ll miss you, Steve.
